Day 01(Mon, 12th October 2009):
Departure Overnight on board.
Day 02(Tue, 13th October 2009):
Hanoi arrival Arrival Hanoi Tuesday Oct 13 at 21.50 (OZ 0733 Asiana) You will be welcomed by our guide and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in hotel.
Day 03(Wed, 14th October 2009): Hanoi city tour – Night train to Lao Cai
Full day is spent on the visit to Hanoi - capital of Vietnam. In the morning, you will visit mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh President, and the One Pillar Pagoda, which is famous for the unique architect of Buddhism belief. Also the Temple of Literature "the first university in Vietnam", founded in 1076, the Tran Quoc Pagoda, one of the oldest of the country and the Quan Thanh Temple, founded between 1010 – 1225 are on the program. In the afternoon, we visit the Museum of Ethnology, featuring a wonderful collection of art and objects from throughout the country and different tribes. Then, we make a cyclo tour (1h)
through Hanoi's Old Quarter and visit of Ngoc Son temple and Hoan Kiem lake. In the evening you can enjoy a performance of the traditional Water Puppet show. In the evening, we catch train to Lao Cai. Overnight in air-conditioned wagon.
Day 04(Thu, 15th October 2009): Lao Cai – Sa Pa
Upon arrival in Lao Cai, you will be transferred to Sapa. Sapa is a former French hill station, located in a sweeping valley near the Chinese border. With an elevation of 1,600m the climate is pleasantly cool. The valley is home to indigenous tribes who live in traditional bamboo villages, surrounded by magnificent green rice-plateaus. Visit Sapa Market, Ham Rong Mountain and Cat Cat village. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 05(Fri, 16th October 2009): Sap Pa – Bac Ha
Breakfast at the hotel. We then embark on a lovely trek that will take us along buffalo paths and trails and through several hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Tavan, home to H'mong, and Dzay people. This is a absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by the friendliest people you can meet. The walls of the valley are covered with multi-layered rice terraces and scattered villages. We drive to Bac Ha in the afternoon. Overnight in hotel.
Day 06(Sat, 17th October 2009): Bac Ha – Can Can Market – Night train to Ha Noi
Breakfast in hotel then, we will visit Can Cau market - situated 18km from Bac Ha . This market is a social gathering for all groups living in the high remote villages, here they meet, drink alcohol and trade goods. After the market, continue to visit Ban Pho village. A superb excursion on boat on Claire River (Song Chay) via a karts throats and Tay villages. Transfer to Lao Cai. Return to Hanoi by train. Night train with air- conditioned wagon.
Day 07(Sun, 18th October 2009): Ha Noi – Ninh Binh
Arrival in Hanoi in the early morning, about 5h30. Welcome and transfer to the hotel for breakfast & shower( you have a room in Hong Ngoc hotel) then departure to Hoa Lu, 100km from Hanoi, one of ancient capital in Vietnam. The province is referred as ' the Halong Bay on land'. Visit of Tam Coc (three lagoons) with unforgettable stroll by boat during 2h. Continue to visit Bich Dong' pagoda by bicycle. In the afternoon, we will visit 2 temples dating from the 11th century dedicated to kings Dinh and Le. Overnight in Ninh Binh.
Day 08(Mon, 19th October 2009): Ninh Binh – Ha Long bay
Departure to Halong Bay via Thai Binh and Nam Dinh. Stop in Nam Dinh province for a visit of Pho Minh pagode Arrival in Bai Chay around noon. We embark our traditional wooden junk to discover this spectacular site. Halong Bay is a natural wonder, with numerous islands and lime-stones rising from the emerald water. Fresh seafood lunches and dinners are prepared by our cooks and served on board. It is also an ideal opportunity to enjoy the sea, mixing yourself with the the beauty of the nature. Overnight on the junk.
Day 09(Tue, 20th October 2009): Ha Long – Ha Noi – Night train to Hue
We visit the floating fishermen's village and continue to visit Ha Long Bay with numerous islands. Around noon, about 11h30, return to the port where we disembark and drive back to Hanoi in the afternoon. In the course of road, we will visit the But Thap' pagoda. In the evening, catch the night train to the ancient capital of Hue. Overnight on train with air-conditioned and soft bed cabin.
Day 10(Wed, 21th October 2009): Hue
arrival Arrive in Hue about 8h40. Transfer to the city and have breakfast. No room for day use . Then, we will visit the "city of peace and poetry" with the Citadel and stroll by cyclo tour to discover the small streets. In the afternoon, visit the Royal Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc founded between 1864-1867 by three thousands soldiers and workers and Tu Hieu pagoda. Overnight in Hue.
Day 11(Thu, 22th October 2009): Hue - Da Nang – Hoi An
In the morning, you will visit Hue, a surprising landscape. You can ride bicycle along the side of the Perfume River and stop at the famous Thien Mu Pagoda . We will visit the pagoda and get on a boat to visit the Royal Tomb of emperor Ming Mang. In the afternoon, we start one of most beautiful roads in Vietnam, the Mandarin Road, to Hoi An. We pass the Hai Van Pass (Ocean Cloud Pass), a mountainous highway offering splendid views over the South China Sea. We visit the Museum of Cham Sculpture in Danang, exposing antique artifacts of the former Cham Kingdom. Visit to the Cao Dai temple in Danang at 6 PM before arriving to Hoi An. Overnight in hotel.
Day 12( Fri, 23th October 2009): Hoi An

In Hoi An, we arrive visit Japanese Covered Bridge, Chinese's street, Phung Hung's house, market and ancient port. Finally, we visit Phuc Thanh's pagoda - the oldest pagoda of Hoi An (1454), built with Chinese bonze. Continue to visit Tra Que' village by bicycle (5 km - 15 minutes from Hoi An). Tra Que is famous for its aromatic herbs, mint and basil. The streets, which appear smaller than usually, are
characterized with a particular flavor. You have chance to discover the life of the farmers while while they are working strenuously with joys and enthusiasm. Return to Hoi An in the afternoon. Free time to visit of old towns in Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 13(Sat, 24th October 2009): Hoi An – My Son – Buon Me Thuot
In the early morning, visit the Hoi An' market. Return in hotel for breakfast. Then, transfer to My Son - 70 architectural works built between VII and XIII century to visit the Royal of Champa' valley. Located in the countryside, Bang An tower with delicate and unique architecture is constituted as a testimony of the Prosperous Cham Kingdom. Return to Hoi An in the afternoon then transfert to Da Nang airport. On the way, visit the Marble mountains in Da Nang before taking the flight to Buon me Thuot. Overnight in Lak Resort.
Day 14(Sun, 25th October 2009): Buon Me Thuot – Da Lat
In the morning, after breakfast, we take a wonderful elephant riding tour during 1.30h. Then, rowing a sampan to visit Lak Lake. Visit to the EDE village In the afternoon, we will start a half day journey from Buon Me Thuot to Da Lat. Go along zigzag road payed with rubber trees. Overnight in hotel.
Day 15(Mon, 26th October 2009): Da Lat – Mui Ne
Da Lat was founded as a hill station to enable the colonials to escape the heat of Sai Gon. The city is located around a lake and surrounded by forests, waterfalls and rolling countryside. Short visit to Da Lat city( Waterfalls, Xuan Hoang Lake, Train Station, Flower Garden) before departure to Mui Ne in the afternoon. Arrival in Mui Ne, we transert to the hotel for check in and stay this night in hotel.
Day 16(Tue, 27th October 2009): Mui Ne
Full day free time, no guide, no transfer included
Day 17(Wed, 28th October 2009): Mui Ne – Sai Gon
Full morning for your leisure. In the afternoon the driver pick you up at 13 pm then we have a journey of 4 hours to Sai Gon. Arrival in Sai Gon, check in hotel.
Day 18(Thu, 29th October 2009): Sai Gon
city tour Full day is spent on the visit Ho Chi Minh city. During a city tour you will visit the Central Post Office, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Ngoc Hoang' temple and the Ben Thanh's market. W e will visit old quarter of Cho Lon (China Town) with Thien Hau Pagoda and Giac Lam pagoda built in 1744. Overnight in Saigon.
Day 19(Fri, 30th October 2009): Sai Gon – Can Tho
In the morning, departure to Cai Be (140km - 2.5 hours). Embark our private boat to visit the Mekong Delta and stop in Vinh Long. Discover the charm of the Mekong Delta visiting the floating market of Cai Be and taste fresh tropical fruits.Then, continu e to Can Tho on route. Arrival in late afternoon. Stay the night in a local house.
Day 20(Sat, 31th October 2009) : Can Tho – Chau Doc
In the early morning we visit the floating market of Cai Rang. This lively delta market is set in amazing scenery, a very good place to take photos. By rowboat we explore the canals, bypassing locals rowing up and down to the market. We drive towards Chau Doc to visit Mount Sam, situated near the Cambodian border. Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day 21(Sun, 1th November 2009) : Chau Doc – Phnom Penh
In the morning, take a speed boat along Mekong River to Phnom Penh. Upon arrival at the airport, you are welcome by our guide and transfer to hotel in Phnom Penh. We have chance to participe in the Water Festival in this day. Overnight in hotel
Day 22(Mon, 2th November 2009) : Phnom Penh – Siem Reap
In the morning, a visit is scheduled to the beautiful Wat Phnom temple, situated on a hill. The National Museum, the silver pagoda, the Royal Palace and the busy central market/Russian Market will also be included in the tour. Morning visit to PP, then drive to Siem Reap. Overnight in hotel
Day 23(Tue, 3th November 2009) : Siem Reap
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to visit South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple complex, Terrace of Elephant and Leper King, Phimean Akas. In the afternoon, transfer to visit Ta Phrom temple, One of the most romantic temples of Angkor's site, where the nature resumed its rights and disrupted the work of the men. A magic place which was built in 1186, this convent Buddhist was the most gigantic of Angkor's site . Overnight at hotel.
Day 24(Wed, 4th November 2009) : Siem Reap
In the morning, departure to Angkor Wat Temple the wonder of the world and in the morning enjoy sun rise. Then, continue to Banteay Srei basically means "citadel of the women" and Banteay Srey has some of the best carvings of all the temples. Return to city and visit of Sras Srang "the Royal Bath ", Banteay Kdei.
Day 25(Thu, 5th November 2009) : Siem Reap
In the morning, departure to Kbal Spean (the River of 1000 lingas), was built between the 11th and 13th centuries. Kbal Spean is around 55km from Siem Reap. You join the site after 45 minutes of walk through the forest. In the afternoon, we will enjoy a boat ride on the Tonle Sap lake. This is the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen's "floating village" with floatting schools, floatting police station…It is same as a big village floatting on the lake, and the "village" move from place to place following water levels and current. Back to the town and enjoy free time to shop in local market. Transfer to Siem Reap International airport departure flight. Departure Siem Reap Thursday Nov 5 17.30 (via Phnom-Penh ans Seoul to Paris : Asiana)
